The Team Wisconsin U19 girls improved on their 2023/2024 season this past weekend in the 2023 NIT Tournament at the Super Rink in Blaine Minnesota. Finishing 3-1, with games against Notre Dame Hounds of Western Canada, The Connecticut Polar Bears, Lovell School of Rockland MA, and The New Jersey Colonials. With three more remaining games in the fall season, the team is riding a 18-5-2 record, and closes out at the Central Districts Showcase in Madison on November 4th and 5th .

The 2023 fall season has been the most successful U19 program to date. TW has gained college recognition on a national level that is unprecedented in Wisconsin Girls Hockey. That recognition has resulted in several D-1 college commits, and multiple D-1 and D-3 opportunities still being discussed for all the Senior players prior to returning for their HS seasons. This will mark the third consecutive season all players wanting to play at the next level have made the move to play in college.

From going 4 and 1 on Labor Day Weekend at the NAHA Invitational in Boston MA, losing 2 to 1 to the eventual winner of the tournament, Northwood School of Lake Placid NY, this team represented Wisconsin Girls Hockey at a high level and remained a topic of conversation with major College Programs throughout the season. The losses and ties have come at the hands of four of the top 10 Teir 1 teams in the country with the 5 losses being one goal games.

In two weeks, these great athletes will be returning to their High Schools to continue their commitment to get their team to the State High School Tournament in March. This is what makes all before-and-after programs so great. We wish these athletes and their high school teams the best of luck on that quest.
