Cody is an extremely explosive hockey player with high end talent. He is as fast a player as I've seen at the HS level in our state and in my opinion, is one of the most talented kids in the state. He was an immediate 1st line and impact player as a freshman as evidenced by his stats below. Since then he has gone on to break the all-time goals and points records at Edgewood and currently sites at 109-110-219 for his career while playing against a top 10 rated strength of schedule in our state. In addition to his impressive stats, Cody has grown and matured tremendously over the last 4 years. His game has developed into much more of a 200' game as he has learned to use his speed and competitiveness in the defensive zone and in backpressure. Additionally he was voted as captain this year, something that has come with his maturity and more team first mentality. Cody was also one of the top scorers on the TW U18 team this fall in the Elite League. He is currently tendered with the Janesville Jets of the NAHL and hopes to eventually play D1 college hockey, which I believe he has the ability to do.
Cody has been involved in the community as well as volunteering at the local dog shelter, along with volunteer activities through school like Edgewood in the Community which involves heading out for a day of community service at a number of locations around Dane County.
