Greg Collins and Jody Jaraczewski to share coaching duties

The Ashwaubenon High School Athletic Department has received and accepted the resignation of Coach Ryan Thomas, boys hockey coach, to spend more time with his family and his full-time job responsibilities.  Ryan will always be a Jaguar and we wish him and his family well.

The Ashwaubenon High School Athletic Department also wants to announce the hiring of Jody Jaraczewski, as co-coach with current coach, Greg Collins.  Coach Jaraczewski played in the DEL European Hockey League from 1994-2000.  From 1990-1994 he accepted a full athletic  scholarship to Colorado College (WCHA) where he was captain and still remains on the all-time scoring list.  Before joining Colorado College Coach Jaraczewski played in the USHL for the Madison Capitals and was Captain and Leading Scorer.  In 1987 Jaraczewski was drafted by the Los Angeles Kings.  Currently, Coach Jaraczewski works at Executive Air in business development and client relations.

An athlete-coach meeting will be held in the coming weeks.  Please stay tuned for details on the daily announcements at the school.

The WIAA-sponsored boys hockey season at Ashwaubenon HS starts on Monday, November 7, 2011, at the Cornerstone Ice Center.
